Welcome to Calgary, Alberta, Canada!
| The community of Capitol Hill is located North of 16th Avenue NW between 10th Street and 19th Street. Our community hall is inter city with access to Downtown, which is less than 5 kilometres away. The University of Calgary and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (S.A.I.T.) are within the immediate vicinity of Capitol Hill, thus a high number of University and S.A.I.T. students reside in the area. Most of the area was developed in the 1950s, although there are homes dating back to the 1920s. One of the oldest buildings in Capitol Hill Community is located just across the street from our community hall. Originally built as a temporary school house by the Calgary School Board, it is used daily by our local Scout Group as a Scout Hall. The 31st St Cyprian's Scout Group is an active scout group for more than 55 years. | ![]() |
